I love words, phrases and quotes.  Thought I’d pass some along that I have collected while revolving around the sun.  I’ve done my best to get the quotes correct and to attribute them properly.  Any quotes from myself are, to the best of my knowledge, mine, but I could have picked them up somewhere too.  Do let me know if you have any corrections that should be made, but more importantly, please throw your favorite phrases and quotes back at me.

    He’s one quote worthy individual! I must paraphrase a Churchill story:

    At a social event, a Lady said to Churchill, “You Sir, are Drunk!” to which Churchill replied, “Yes, that is true, but in the morning I will be sober, but you will still be ugly”

    This is a good list, and an interesting project. I’ve always got little computer files and slips of paper stashed away with quotes I feel are particularly appropriate at the time. This is the kind of idea I may “borrow” myself sometime. In any case, here is one I’ve always enjoyed.

    Yeah, the quotes are cool. Someone mentioned one from Ghandi and it brought to mind one his that I’ve always loved (I may be paraphrasing a little bit).
